Welcome to Bapatla Engineering College. The college is the first generation self financing engineering college started in the year 1981 to accelerate the industrial revolution by attracting the regional talent and make them technologically competent engineers/scientists. The college is regarded as one of the best engineering colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh in imparting quality education for more than three decades. The college became autonomous from the year 2010-’11. Bapatla Engineering College is one of the eminent institutions run by Bapatla Education Society. The college is supported by a visionary management, dedicated faculty and staff members and committed students.

The college offers B.Tech. programmes in 9 faculties of Engineering- Civil, Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Mechanical which are twice AICTE-NBA accredited, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology which are accredited once and Bio-Technology. The college also offers Post Graduate programmes in Digital Communications & Signal Processing, Computer Science, Power Systems, Structures and CAD/CAM.

The teaching learning process in the campus is meticulously planned and effectively implemented by the Heads of the Departments with the able support of the faculty members. Continuous evaluation backed by remedial classes, student counseling and parent interactions form the nucleus of the teaching learning process. The students of the college exhibit enviable performance at the university examinations for which the college was awarded with “Best Performing College in University Results” more than once. The college also achieved the “Best Laboratory” award twice from Nagarjuna University. The students of the college continuously excel in national and international competitive examinations like GATE, GRE and TOEFL.

The college has good placement record for the past two decades.
