Guidelines:

• The presentation should contain Minimum 8 slides and Maximum 10 slides.
• The time of Presentation shall not exceed 10 minutes.
• Only the participants who qualify in the preliminary presentation round 1, shall be eligible for the final presentation round 2.
• Participants are required to bring their soft copy (preferably in a pen drive) on the day of the event.

Guidelines:

• The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments.
• The questions shall be in the form of multiple choice, True / False statement, Specific-answer question etc.
• Audience shall not give any hints or clues to the competitors.
• Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after the registration.
• The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.

Elimination Round:

• Each team would be given a set of question paper containing 25 multiple choice objective type questions on basic sciences and general knowledge.
• Time limit - 30 minutes.
• Only 6 Teams would be selected for STAGE ROUNDS.
• In case of tie between 2 or more teams, 5 further questions would be asked for final selection.

Final Quiz Stage Rounds:

• 4 Rounds will be conducted in the Final stage
• SURPRISE ROUND IN CASE OF TIE IN THE FINAL ROUND

Guidelines:

Polyglot consists of 2 levels.

Level 1:

• The participant has to implement 3 out of 4 problems choosing any 3 different programming languages within 60 Minutes.
• Judging Criteria:
  • Whoever completes all the 3 problems first, they will be qualified for the second round.
  • In case of tie:
    • Judges will consider the platform the candidate has chosen for solving the problems and type of problem they have chosen or the judges would give another set of problems to solve.
• A maximum of 50% of members or a maximum 10 members will be qualified to the next round.
• Note: C language is mandatory and the other 2 languages could be chosen by the participant (for the first round).

Level 2:

• The participant has to implement 2 problems choosing any 3 different programming languages within 30 Minutes.
• Judging Criteria:
  • Whoever completes all the 2 problems first, they will win the contest.
  • In case of tie:
    • Judges will consider the platform the candidate has chosen for solving the problems and type of problem they have chosen or the judges would give another set of problems to solve.

Programming Languages:

C, C++, C#, JAVA, .NET, PYTHON (optional).

Important Instructions to the Candidate:

• The candidate shall carry Black/Blue Ball Point Pen into the Lab.
• The candidate will not be permitted into the lab, once the test commences and will not be allowed to leave the lab until the END of the event.
• Candidates will not be allowed into the lab, even if they are late by one minute.
• Any clarifications or doubts related to the event shall be clarified prior to the event. No questions will be entertained during the event.
• Carrying of Calculators, Mathematical/Log Tables, Pagers, Cell Phones, Watches (all types), Large Spectacles, any other Electronic Gadgets and loose sheets of paper into the lab are strictly prohibited.
• Blank papers will be provided for rough work in the lab. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the lab without handing over the rough sheets to the invigilator concerned after the end of the event.
• No internet connection is provided to the candidate.
