Paper Guidelines & Author Guidelines

The topic should be on recent advances in the field of Computer Science and Technology/Information Technology.
Abstract should not exceed more than 250 words and Paper should not exceed 10 pages.
Paper should be in IEEE Format.
Paper must be preceded by a cover page specifying the title of the paper, names of authors, their college names, contact numbers, and email IDs.
Based on the peer review of the paper, few papers will be nominated for presentation.

Submission Guidelines:

Last day to submit the soft copy of your report (via e-mail) will be two days prior to the day of presentation.
Kindly Mail your abstract & paper to: coordinator
Spot submission of paper is also allowed.
Submitted papers will undergo peer review, and nominated paper authors will be informed.
Difficulties will be addressed through the same email ID.

Presentation Guidelines:

Only undergraduate students are allowed to send in their entries.
A team can present only one paper.
If the paper is co-authored, then there can be only 2 members at max. (one author and one co-author).
The oral presentation should be in the form of Microsoft PowerPoint slides containing a brief of the paper.
The presenters should bring PowerPoint slides in a pen drive.
The presentation should last a maximum of 7 minutes, followed by a 3-minute Q&A session.
The presenters should be punctual for their scheduled presentation and register with the respective session chair before their presentation session.
The presenters should be in formal attire and carry their college ID card during the presentation.
The presenters should submit a hard copy of the paper in A4 sheets with a cover page specifying the title of the paper, names of authors, college names, contact numbers, and email IDs.
The Best Paper Award is at the discretion of the judges and organizers.

Knowledge is power indeed; it is also something that can fetch you great prizes. ECTAGON brings you the TECHNICAL QUIZ. This quiz covers a lot of topics in the Technical field. PARTICIPATE and WIN exciting prizes.

Guidelines:

• Technical Quiz will be conducted on 28th February 2025.

• Each team can have a maximum of 3 members.

• Technical Quiz consists of 3 levels.

Level 1:

• This round consists of 30 objective-type multiple-choice questions from the basics of core subjects of engineering.

• Time duration will be 30 minutes.

Level 2:

• Level 2 will consist of 30 Fill in the blanks.

• Time duration will be 30 minutes.

Level 3:

• Level 3 is to identify the displayed photographs/logos/slogans.

• This is the final level. From this, 2 teams will be selected and declared as Winners and Runners.

Code Rivalry

EVENT DETAILS:

This event will be conducted in two rounds. Participants have to answer multiple-choice questions concerning program outputs, errors, and other related topics in the first round. In the second round, participants have to code the solution for a given problem in any familiar programming language (C, C++, Java, JavaScript, VB, C#, J#, Python, etc.).

GUIDELINES:

Team size is only one.
Event duration is 2 hours.
Spot registrations are also allowed, subject to availability.
Participants should not bring their laptops. Systems and editors for coding will be provided.
