A team-based campus-wide event where participants solve civil engineering-based clues, puzzles, and field tasks to hunt for a hidden treasure.
Event Objective
- Test technical knowledge and logical reasoning
- Encourage teamwork and collaboration
- Promote fun, safe, and time-bound campus activity
Team Formation
- Team size: 3 members
- Eligibility: B.Tech Civil students (or mixed branch if allowed)
- Registration through online/portal
- No participant replacement after registration
Event Structure
Round 1: Written / Elimination
- MCQs or short-answer questions
- Topics: Surveying, Concrete, Soil, Structures
- Top teams qualify for final round
Round 2: Final Treasure Hunt
- Teams move across campus solving clues
- Each checkpoint unlocks next clue
- Final clue leads to treasure point
Clues & Tasks
- Based on civil engineering concepts
- Examples: structural elements, materials, lab identification
- Field tasks like distance estimation or sketching
- Each checkpoint includes pass-code or answer
Evaluation & Scoring
Points System
- Correct answer: 10 points
- Bonus: Fastest team at checkpoint
Penalties
- Hint usage: -5 points
Winning Criteria
- First team to reach final treasure
- Highest cumulative score wins
Technical Quiz – General Rules
- Each team may include minimum 1 and maximum 3 students
- Every participant must carry a valid college ID
- Quiz judge’s decision is final and binding
- Questions may be MCQs, True/False, or direct answers
- Participants must wait for their turn
- Only one final answer per team will be considered
- If no team answers, audience may answer
- Tie cases will be resolved with additional questions
- No outside assistance (mobile/internet) allowed
- Cheating leads to disqualification
Screening Test
- 20 objective questions
- Time: 30 minutes
- 1 mark per question
- No negative marking
- Top 10 teams will be shortlisted
Round 1: Lap Round
- Each team gets 4 questions (10 marks each)
- 30 seconds per question
- No negative marking
- If unanswered → passed to next team
- Other teams get 10 seconds
- Correct answer = 5 marks
- Top 6 teams qualify for next round
Round 2: Audio-Visual Round
- 2 questions per team (10 marks each)
- 60 seconds per question
- No negative marking
- If unanswered → passed to next team
- Other teams get 10 seconds
- Correct answer = 5 marks
- Top 4 teams qualify for final round
Final Round: Picture Identification
- 3 questions per team (10 marks each)
- 60 seconds per question
- Negative marking: -5 for wrong answer
- Questions will NOT be passed to other teams
