NCC

The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities., with a distinct emphasis on Social Services, Discipline and Adventure Training. The NCC is open to all regular students of schools and colleges on a voluntary basis. The students have no liability for active military service.

  1. The National Cadets Corps came into existence under the National Cadet Corps Act XXXI of 1948 (passed in April, 1948; came into existence on 16th July, 1948).
  2. To develop character, commandership, discipline , leadership, secular outlook , sprit of adventure and the ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country.
    To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivate youth to provide leadership in all walks of life and always available for the service of the nation .
    To provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the Armed Forces.

On the 08th June 2023, 48 dedicated cadets participated in a proactive tree plantation initiative orchestrated under the esteemed National Mission for a Green India (GIM). The event, meticulously organized by the 1(A) ENGR COY NCC in collaboration with Bapatla Engineering College NCC, marked a significant step towards environmental sustainability.Under the guidance and supervision of our esteemed Associate NCC Officer (ANO), Lieutenant Y. Narendra Babu sir.

On the 14th August 2023, 50 dedicated cadets of 1(A) ENGR COY NCC, in collaboration with Bapatla Engineering College NCC, undertook a pivotal initiative aligned with the Swachh Bharat Mission.Our Associate NCC Officer (ANO), Lieutenant Y. Narendra Babu sir, this program aimed to contribute to the nationwide cleanliness campaign.

On the 09th September 2023, 42 dedicated cadets from 1(A) ENGR COY NCC, in conjunction with Bapatla Engineering College NCC, participated in a pivotal blood donation camp. This altruistic initiative, organized under the keen supervision of our Associate NCC Officer (ANO), Lieutenant Y. Narendra Babu sir, aimed to contribute to the noble cause of saving lives through blood donation.

On the 8th November 2023, 50 dedicated cadets from 1(A) ENGR COY NCC, in collaboration with Bapatla Engineering College NCC, actively participated in a significant initiative aligned with the Clean India Mission. Under the vigilant guidance of our Associate NCC Officer (ANO), Lieutenant Y. Narendra Babu sir, the program focused on the cleaning of a prominent statue, symbolizing a commitment to cleanliness and civic responsibility.
