As part of the intention to protect the environment, the Bapatla Engineering College organized a clay Ganesha making competition and sapling planting programs under the auspices of Team CCA and NSS Units. 

In this program, President of Bapatla Education Society Mr. Muppalaneni Srinivasa Rao said that we should continue the process of progress and development of the country while protecting the environmental balance and quality.

Secretary Mr. Manam Nageswarao Garu said that environmental protection is a big challenge facing the human race and for this students and people should be given proper awareness about many aspects related to environment.

College Principal Dr. Sheikh Nazir Garu said that as part of environmental protection, programs like clay Ganesha making competitions and planting of saplings are being organized so that about 5000 students will be inspired and educated in their homes and around the homes and will contribute to environmental protection.College Dean Student Affairs Prof. D. Niranjan Babu said that the environment is a valuable wealth that we cannot see and every citizen has the responsibility to provide that wealth to our future generations.  He said that the winners of these competitions will be given a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize. The teachers, students and students enthusiastically participated in the program and made the program a success.
