Five-Day Online Faculty Development Programme Begins at Bapatla Engineering College


A five-day Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Emerging AI Technologies and Their Applications in Civil Engineering” commenced at Bapatla Engineering College, organized by the Department of Civil Engineering.
The programme aims to provide faculty members with insights into the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its growing applications in the field of Civil Engineering.
AI to Play a Key Role in Civil Engineering
The programme was inaugurated in the presence of Prof. P. Uday Bhaskar, Professor, JNTU Kakinada and former Chairman of APPSC, who attended as the Chief Guest.
Addressing the participants, Prof. P. Uday Bhaskar highlighted that Artificial Intelligence is rapidly expanding across various sectors and is expected to play a significant role in the future of Civil Engineering. He encouraged faculty members to embrace emerging AI technologies and continuously enhance their teaching, technical and professional skills to meet the changing demands of the engineering sector.
